The tonal switch deserves awards. One minute it feels emotional and hopeful, then suddenly the entire episode spirals into horror with no brakes. People debate the Geass malfunction twist a lot, but emotionally? It lands HARD. You can literally feel Lelouch realizing he destroyed everything.

Code Geass was already dramatic but this ep crossed into generational trauma territory 💀 the pacing, tension, and payoff were actually insane.
