Episode Context

As the first episode of 25, 'The Day a Demon Awakens' carries the full weight of reestablishing the series after the Black Rebellion's aftermath, resetting the board while planting seeds for every major conflict to come. It bridges the gap between Season 1's explosive finale and R2's escalating power struggles, reintroducing Lelouch's world in a state that demands answers. The groundwork laid here, particularly around identity and hidden agendas, feeds directly into the early episodes' momentum as the Black Knights begin to stir again.
