The way this episode turned out was really good. The smooth animation was amazing. The story progression so far has me really interested, especially that ending scene, which proves that the plot is thickening. It's only just getting started!

This was such an intense episode. Alicia was such a baddie—I love her so much! Though, they really dragged the fight out a little bit. At the very least, I still liked how it turned out.

I liked this episode. It was full of action and hectic moments. The bugs really put me off, but I kinda liked how they delivered that part. Anyway, I can't wait for the next episode. It's getting SO good!

How could a hero that is not a main character be more heroic than most heroes in other series? Alicia is absolutely GOATed in this episode, the way she unites the Hiden's people and her fight against Maynard was very wholesome and amazing. It is heartwarming seeing everyone unite to protect Luna. The episode was full of action-packed moments yet heartwarming. Also there is a big twist at the end that you should look out for.

Alicia and Nell trapped in an old mill with Luna. villagers outside think they're the enemy. the insect wizard is still there. Alicia's body is giving out. Clen is nowhere to be found. this episode is STRESS. also Nell stepping up to protect Luna? that's growth. 😤

it is an action PACKED EPISODE!!! Pacing is relentless once the big fight kicks in. Animation is stunning, especially the watermill chaos and massive creature stuff. Tone delivers intense hero moments with moral weight.

Everything escalates quickly here. The danger feels real, and the episode doesn’t hold back in showing the consequences.

Characters face difficult decisions that carry real consequences. The emotional weight stands out here.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 7's revelations about Drel's wizards and their attempted abduction of Luna, 'Current of Insects' channels that tension directly into combat as Alicia faces one of Drel's key operatives. Sitting at the two-thirds mark of this 12-episode season, this episode bridges the investigative middle stretch into what appears to be an all-out conflict phase. It directly sets the stage for the escalating warfare teased in Episode 9, 'War Zone Hiderat,' as Drel's forces push their advance further.
