QUICK TAKES

The atmosphere in this episode is quite relaxing. There's no significant moment happens yet. The plot also develops a little bit. And it looks like something is going to happen in the next episode.

Ayanokoji is so scary calculating. He's not trying to shine but on the viewers perspective it's all about how he gets to one point to another. I mean, Ayanokoji is always adaptive and calculating to whatever situation. I do think Kiryuin will play a role later on.

Well, there haven’t been many major changes, as most of the episode focused on conversations and new revelations. As for Ayanokoji, he’s surprisingly gentlemanly. Even though he usually appears indifferent and uninterested, he consistently helps his fellow students whenever they’re in need.

Awalnya agak intense gitu tapi suka banget pas udah bagian pertengahan.

Ayanokoji continues proving that he somehow turns random encounters into intelligence-gathering operations. Bro can't take a walk without uncovering something important. 😂

Mixed feelings on this one. Some scenes felt like setup more than payoff, but the new information revealed was enough to keep me invested in what's coming next. 🤔

Ayanokoji really spent this episode collecting information like he's finishing side quests before the final boss. The pacing is slower, but the tension never disappears because every conversation feels like it has hidden meaning

EPISODE CONTEXT
Three episodes from the finale, 'Obscured by the Rain' arrives in the wake of 'After Vengeance,' a title that signals the dust hasn't fully settled from recent confrontations. At episode 13 of 16, the season is firmly in its endgame setup phase — alliances are being stress-tested and hidden motives are surfacing before the final push. This episode functions as a deliberate bridge, deepening the relational stakes between key players and laying the psychological groundwork for what promises to be a high-stakes conclusion.
