QUICK TAKES

I would say this one is just on the right pace. New characters are introduced without spoiling who came from the white room. I believe there are still some characters to be introduced. Visuals are quite the same but i noticed that the graphics softened. As usual Kiyopon is him.

Starting off at the bottom again is crazy but the hype already feel so much higher in this season. The new rules they introduced are great. Can’t wait to see how this first exam is gonna be.

I absolutely love how sharp the animation looks this term.

Assassin From the White Room” kicks off the new semester with mystery, tension, and high stakes. The introduction of a hidden threat connected to Ayanokoji’s past immediately raises the suspense, making for a strong and intriguing season opener.

EPISODE CONTEXT
As the first episode of sixteen, this premiere directly follows the events of Season 3's conclusion and launches the 2nd Year Arc by establishing the White Room threat as the season's central tension. It lays the groundwork for the cross-grade special exam and introduces key new players, leading directly into the alliance negotiations and strategic maneuvering expected in Episode 2. Everything here is foundational — the payoffs are ahead, but the stakes are set immediately.
