Synopsis
Ordinary high school student Haoxuan Sun was taken hostage in a seemingly robbery and rescued by a girl wearing winged battledress with bee bionics designs. Haoxuan Sun’s peaceful life was stirred by the girl – human bioengineering weapon Vanguard Liuli. Discovered that he is the "Son of Eden" wanted by all the great powers, Haoxuan Sun and Liuli have been searching for the truth and fight against the so-called destiny. At the same time, people around Haoxuan Sun, senpai Ye Bai who he has a crash on, his best friend, and many others, were discovered to have a second identities. The new BEE anime is based on the original manga plot. In addition, BEE manga's author Baimao personally joined the production team. The new BEE will also include two subplots entirely new to the viewers.

This was another pretty good episode, and I say it cuz it's pretty engaging. Also loved what happened with Haxuan's friend, cuz bee girl really put him in his place. I like the subtle mystery surrounding the characters, and I honestly think blue hair girl, Ye Bai, is pretty sus. Again, not a fan of Haxuan, bro really thought he ate with that "stay away 1.5 metres away from me" line.
Going into this blind, I was definitely pleasantly surprised. The animation is great; the pacing is fast but consistent (personally didn't expect to get dragged into a hostage situation immediately). The action is ON point, and the fight scenes are beautifully choreographed; I personally enjoyed every bit of them. Not a fan of Haoxuan; he's already made some pretty questionable decisions... since it's too early to judge, I hope he'll get better as the show progresses. Also didn't expect a bee suit to BEE that cool.. ahaha (I'll leave).
