Godzilla: S.P was nominated for the 42nd Nihon SF Taisho Award in 2022. In the same year, the anime won the 53rd Seiun Award in the Best Media category. The series was released on Blu-ray and DVD in three volumes from August 18, 2021, to October 20, 2021.
