Satella investigating on her own was so in character 😤 Getting captured by Aion's followers had me stressed. Her hatred for devils makes sense and Aion using that against her was cruel.

This is a Satella-focused episode, and it's about time. Her backstory has been teased since her introduction, and finally getting the full picture including the revelation that her sister is alive adds a new layer to her character.the fight with Aion is brief and one-sided, and the episode is mostly exposition.

Episode Context

Following 'Pursuer,' where controversial alliances between the Order and demonic forces created a deep rift among the protagonists, 'Believer' narrows its focus to the fallout, specifically Satella's crisis of faith and her solo confrontation with the consequences of those choices. Positioned at episode 16 of 24, this installment functions as a critical bridge in the back half of the series, deepening backstories and moral stakes before the narrative escalates into 'Accomplices' and the conflicts that follow. It's a necessary character pivot that recontextualizes loyalties heading into the final act.
