Es interesante que muestren una problemática que está ahora mismo en la actualidad. Las personas aman y se enamoran con lo virtual en vez de pasar tiempo con el mundo real y las personas de carne y hueso. Ese tema es muy delicado y me hace sentir un mal sabor de boca pero es una realidad de la que no se puede ignorar.
This episode continues the story from Episode 15 and once again focuses on the series’ supporting characters. I still enjoyed it, though. Even these smaller side stories seem to have subtle connections to Chii. I’m just not entirely sure yet what effect these events are actually having on her, which makes me even more curious about what’s really going on.
We continue the drama from the previous episode. This one is quite intense. A couple runs away, and no one knows where they went, while Hideki frantically tries to contact Shinbo. It seems Hideki is hurting over losing his chance with a girl he likes, but then we understand his true feelings. Shinbo tells us a tragic story that offers another perspective on the existence of Persocoms. In today's world, where people are truly experiencing hallucinations and increasingly blurring the lines between reality and fantasy, how much can we relate to the problems of this world where people form emotional bonds with machines instead of the people around them?
