What a twist! The initial 'calm' vibes I had from Episode 1 flushed away. This anime is on some serious business! The beautiful colors of the anime (almost watercolor-like) paired with the scary status quo and emotional conflict seen in this episode had me at the edge of my seat. I am excited to see what happens next!
Man that was so sad the whole situation with Lykos is a bit heartbreaking to think about what she had to give up and now she just feels so empty. I hope we get to see her smile genuinely again someday. The locusts scene was beautiful. I honestly thought the second half was going to be a bit more relaxing but it took such a dark turn.
