This episode feels like a sendoff to what's about to come in the next one, as the team ventured to the nationals next. We get to see people like family, teachers, even other club supporting the karuta club, which made this episode feels wholesome, a calm before the storm, maybe.

The ep starts with a bit of struggle and doubt, but it gets softened by an emotional vibe, thanks to Chihaya’s mom. Chihaya finds her positive energy again, and the rest feels warm and wholesome. There’s also a tiny hint of romance here and there.
