Seguimos con la batalla y alianza entre Power y Denji por la razón mas absurda pero graciosa .

S1E4 of Chainsaw Man is hilarious and full of charm. It’s funny how Denji never gives up on his dream of touching a woman before he dies, then completely freezes in front of Power when he finally gets the chance. Great humor.

Denji literally got betrayed, stabbed, and still kept his promise just to touch some boobs. the dedication. the COMMITMENT. also Power going "that's a pretty dumb reason" while AGREEING is peak writing. Bat Devil fight was clean as hell. 🫡

Denji’s endurance is a total flex. Taking on two devils back-to-back is no easy feat. Seeing him use the environment to his advantage is a great tactical W. Power moving in is a total disaster in the best way possible. The slice of life scenes were such a vibe.

The episode opens with an excellent fight scene that highlights Denji’s ability to push himself to the limit with his foolish yet funny dreams in life. The scenes in Aki’s apartment are gorgeously animated in addition to being hilarious and entertaining. A lighthearted break.

I think Denji screaming about his dream to touch boobs while the Leech Devil was literally eating him is the most relatable thing this show has done and his priorities are just so simple

The flashback of Power trying to fatten up Meowy only to end up loving the cat actually made me feel bad for her and she really was just a wild animal before she met that kitten

The way that Fox Devil just *swallowed* the Leech Devil and made it disappear in an instant completely blindsided me; I wasn't expecting such a quick, brutal end. Aki, though, standing there with that hand sign, looking completely unfazed by the sheer power, just solidified for me that he's a total beast.

Power not flushing the toilet or taking a bath is actually revolting, but it makes the group dynamic with Aki so much more entertaining to watch

I was stressed watching Denji try to fight with that tiny saw on his head but he just keeps swinging and his speech about having a stupid dream actually made sense

The way Makima smiles at Aki while she tells him she trusts him makes my skin crawl and I am pretty sure she is playing everyone in that office like a fiddle

That Leech Devil was talking so much trash about her lover but Denji did not care at all because he just wants to touch some boobs and it is the most relatable goal

The hospital scene where Aki is just peeling an apple was so quiet, but then Power shows up and starts clogging the toilet. This trio is going to be a complete mess to watch.

Power moving into the apartment and immediately making a mess is so funny and Aki looked like he wanted to die when she threw those vegetables at him

Denji scrubbing the toilet while cursing out Power was the most realistic part of the episode and I love how this show goes from high stakes action to cleaning bathroom floors

Aki summons that massive fox head out of nowhere and just eats the Leech Devil in one bite like it was nothing and I think his contract is the coolest thing in the show so far

Denji screaming about his dream to touch boobs while he is literally bleeding out is such a specific kind of character motivation and it weirdly makes him so relatable

Power and her cat, Meowy – those flashbacks totally caught me off guard. When she realized blood was warm, just like her pet, I felt an unexpected pang of empathy for her, suddenly viewing her less as a chaotic devil and more as someone capable of genuine connection.

Aki dropping that giant fox head to swallow the leech devil was easily the coolest thing in the show so far and he makes it look so effortless

Power not flushing the toilet is the absolute worst part of the new living situation and Aki deserves a medal for putting up with her and Denji at the same time

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 4 closes out the opening stretch of Chainsaw Man's first season, serving as the direct aftermath of Denji and Power's confrontation with the Bat Devil in Episode 3. It transitions the series from its initial setup phase — establishing Denji's contract, his motivations, and his uneasy alliance with Power — into the broader team dynamics and organizational structure that will drive the middle portion of the season. This is the bridge episode where early conflicts crystallize into lasting character relationships, setting the foundation for the escalating threats ahead.
