It's simple but powerful, showing Denji’s tough life as a devil hunter and his close bond with Pochita. A small detail, like Denji dreaming of bread with jam, makes his struggles feel real. It’s a strong start that gets us talking about survival, hope & his journey will lead

So dope! Kinda loved how they animated the gore aspect making it more intense to watch. It's kinda dark, but yet the animation is serene. Nice backstory of Denji and it's definitely worth watching!

EPIC! Kicks off with raw grit and unapologetic energy. The tone is dark but grounded, blending brutal action with a surprisingly human core. Sharp direction and striking visuals set the mood instantly. It is messy, intense, and bold in all the right ways.

This first episode feels like you are watching a movie. It sets the tone for the whole series and was not afraid of showing off with the animation and gore. It follows poor Denji who has to live with the consequences and debt of his father.

What a start to a series, It really delivered in terms of Story, animation style, and the feeling of "a lively world" in a sense that the world just tells a story on its own. It's really a gem to come across, i wouldn't advice any FAN miss this.

The funny & simple-minded protagonist Denji contrasts well with the dark, violent world around him. This show uses interesting framing, lighting, and camera angles with a live-action movie vibe. The scene where Chainsaw Man appears is well-animated with a nice soundtrack too.

Episode 1 drops you straight into Denji’s messed-up world with zero sugarcoating. From demon debt-slavery to chainsaw chaos, the episode nails gore, dark humor, and emotional grit, showing that this isn’t just horror .

Was Denji’s choice to merge with Pochita selfish, heroic, or inevitable?
