(Covers ch 16[second half]-19 of the manga) It's overall a good adaptation, there some small parts that has been omitted but I guess it's acceptable since it doesn't have any useful information. The fight animation is fluid and the art is still consistently good. The studio still can't let go of the CGI chain but atleast the Shuuki and Yuki's fusion slave doesn't look odd.

AWWWWW, Shushu! Kawaii! Such a crybaby but cute! This episode got me thinking, who will Yuuki romance among those women? Hoping it's a harem for him!

The battle scenes are brilliant, I love the moves especially made by sahara and it’s a cinematic watch.

Episode Context

The halfway mark of Chained Soldier delivers exactly what the Intersquad Tournament arc demands: a high-octane showcase fight that puts Shushu Suruga and Sahara Wakasa center stage. This episode runs hot on combat choreography, leaning into the unique ability systems that make each fighter's approach distinct and unpredictable. The pacing is aggressive, expect minimal downtime as the second tournament match unfolds with tactical intensity. Between the clashes, the episode weaves in moments with Yuuki Wakura, Kyouka Uzen, and Himari Azuma that ground the spectacle in character dynamics and squad camaraderie. The ecchi elements remain present but take a backseat to the action, making this one of the more combat-focused entries in the season. If the fights have been your draw, this episode delivers.
