Chain Chronicle: The Light of Haecceitas Episode 1: Light and Darkness

This is my second rewatch of this anime. The first time I watched it, I was pretty interested in the concept. I think it's because we were shown in the first ep the thrill and supposed 'payoff' of the journey, which for first-time watchers may be something that'd confuse them or even tick them off.

It was also somewhat 'uncomfortable ', especially with the dark lord handling our cute little fairy. That 'snap' really made me flinch both times.

I think this is a great series, and this episode sets the stage for it perfectly. Though the animation isn't exactly my 'type', it's not really bad objectively speaking.

Oh yeah, it's also a pretty refreshing concept in terms of handling its main character. It's exactly what hooked me in this series when I first came across it. So, definitely a must-watch!

Awesome! I find the plot concept really interesting. The beginning leaves you with so many intriguing questions, and the character animation looks fantastic.
