Episode Context

Coming off Episode 3, where Aya's connection to Ceres first becomes undeniable, this episode accelerates that internal fracturing and sharpens the Mikage family's threat into something more immediate and personal. At just Episode 4 of 24, it functions as a tonal anchor, establishing the emotional stakes and central conflict that will drive the rest of the season. What unfolds here sets the stage for Aya's increasingly complicated position between her human ties and Ceres's celestial mission.
