A storm rages outside, setting a dramatic stage for the Wizard and his Apprentice. Inside, the Wizard stands proud before his lumpy clay creation, ready to unveil a legendary Golem. The Apprentice looks on, already bored, anticipating another one of his master's eccentric failures. This reveal promises power, but the raw material suggests something far more domestic.

The Wizard commands his creation to rise, his voice booming with a mixture of pride and expectation. The clay mass rumbles, and with glowing red eyes, transforms into a colossal cat. It's a striking visual, this enormous creature pushing off its pedestal, filling the chamber with its unexpected form. The Apprentice still seems largely unimpressed by the Golem's new feline shape, a delightful counterpoint to the Wizard's triumph.

Eager to test its obedience, the Wizard points to the castle exit and orders the Cat Golem to fetch water. The Golem simply stares, then slowly begins to lumber away, its heavy footsteps shaking the castle. The Apprentice and Wizard explain how erasing letters from the Golem's forehead would stop it.
