Episode Context

This filler episode lands between 'Detective Takagi Picked Up 30 Million Yen' and the two-part 'Yusaku Kudo's Unsolved Case,' shifting from a lighter premise involving unexpected fortune to a more emotionally charged standalone mystery. It serves as a transitional breather before the next arc digs into Conan's family history with his father's unresolved cases. No major plot threads carry forward, making it skippable for canon-only viewers but a decent standalone mystery on its own merits.
