Episode Context

This is a self-contained filler episode that sits between the resolution of 'The Mystery in the Net' and the upcoming two-part 'The Idol Stars' Secret' arc, which shifts focus toward celebrity intrigue. It functions as a palate cleanser, a breather episode offering a traditional detective story without advancing the series' larger narrative threads. Fans tracking the main storyline can skip this without missing continuity, though it's a solid standalone mystery for those who enjoy Conan's classic deductive format.
