Wow, it felt like a long time since I last saw Ran in an episode. This one was good, but not the kind that delivers shocking moments. Still, the plot was great and really intriguing.

I like this episode, but it wasn’t that amazing. It was still good, though—like a great first watch, but maybe not something I’d rewatch. I still enjoyed the storyline.

It was a good episode, but not really mind-blowing enough to make you say, “WTF was that?!” It wasn’t underwhelming either—more like a typical episode with a solid concept that was delivered well.

Episode Context

Coming off 'The Detective Boys vs the Silver Detectives 2,' which put the younger cast front and center in a competitive mystery, this episode resets the focus onto the core trio of Kogoro, Ran, and Conan with a self-contained, low-stakes case. It functions as a tonal breather between livelier ensemble entries. The calm won't last, the next episode, 'I'm the Culprit,' escalates into a locked-room murder with multiple confessions, signaling a shift back toward more complex, layered storytelling.
