This is the episode where the season's plot finally clicks into place. The Nao twist is genuinely shocking she's been a background character this whole time, and now she's the final boss.

Episode Context

Positioned at episode 9 of 13, this installment directly follows the confrontation between future Hikari and her past self in 'Point of Intersection,' unpacking the truths that encounter was meant to deliver. It functions as a critical narrative bridge, converting the season's accumulated mysteries into concrete revelations. The stage is being set for 'Descent of The Fated King,' where the overarching conflict appears poised to escalate sharply into the final four episodes.
