Synopsis
After winning a high-stakes card tournament called the Fated Clash, Akina Myodo walked away with his prize: getting his sick sister Hikari healed. Sounds like a happy ending, right? Except the mysterious plush toy Gabwelius who set the whole thing up starts revealing what the Fated Clash was actually about, and it's clear Akina's story is far from over. Then a second plush toy named Sybilt shows up, because one enigmatic stuffed animal pulling strings wasn't enough, and gathers six new cardholders for something called the Destined Showdown. Same deal: win and your deepest wish gets granted. The catch is that everyone competing has their own reasons for being there, and the line between fate and destiny turns out to matter a lot more than you'd expect. This is a 13-episode TV series from 2024, animated by Kinema Citrus alongside Gift-o'-Animation and Studio Jemi, and the card battles look genuinely sharp. The duels lean hard into strategy and mind games rather than just flashy attacks, with a dual card system, Fated One and Destined One cards, that gives the fights real tactical layers. If you grew up on Yu-Gi-Oh! or Future Card Buddyfight and want something that takes the tournament formula seriously, this scratches that itch. It also has some of the emotional weight you'd find in something like Zatch Bell!, where the stakes behind each fight feel personal. The pacing is tight at 13 episodes, so it doesn't drag.

Ay ya cásense, que les cuesta jajaja Gab me sorprendió completamente, bonito final. Yo creo que no hacia falta otro enganche al final y que esta historia quede ahí.

Buen lore pero hay decisiones de la historia que me parecieron innecesarias y solo para alargar el anime .
Capitulo de lore sin batallas, la verdad me esperaba algo un poco más grave, y quizás un mejor plot twist.
Puros Plot twist ! Ahora tienen que explicar muchas cosas para el siguiente capitulo!! La batalla era esperable, como se las ingeniaron los demás para lo que se venia !

Esta batalla estuvo muy buena, cuando hay conexion se siente más el combate, emociona más , y que son esos plot twist!
Este capitulo me dio un poco bastante de pereza, creo que las batallas de la 2da temp no pegan tanto porque no se siente una conexión entre las personas que pelean

Waa no se a quien favorece el poder del guion jajaj Me pone triste que los hermanos tengan que pelearse así. El capitulo estuvo bueno como ver lo que se vendrá a futuro.
Sabia que había cosas inconclusas pero no me esperaba este inicio para una segunda temporada, se ve interesante~
a very typical cardfight vanguard ending. as usual the final duel has a fired up & dramatic scene and then wrapped up with a good touch with every involved main characters. fortunately, usually cfv characters are very lovable and the last scenes leave a good feeling
aside from the unexpected turn of Nao's circumstances, these finishing episodes are pretty cliche. Akina got a pretty good scenes exploring his relationships with his closest people though.
since we have seen suo's story from previous season, it was great to see how his supposed to be childhood friend affected too to what happened to him
a great episode finally telling how everyone somehow all got roped into this together
a stack of surprising turn of events , and what a coincidence turn of events in the past?!
i would like it a bit more if we get another episode to touch upon young hikari's thought but using future hikari to clash it open is a good one
a really great episode between the siblings with an interesting cliffhanger
