EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming directly off the premiere's introductory groundwork, 'Zero of Salvation' accelerates both the external conflict and the protagonists' internal journeys, shifting from setup into genuine character interrogation. Suo's identity crisis and the revelation of the Fantôme Units deepen the mysteries seeded in episode one. The episode builds directly toward the ominously titled third episode, 'Life and Death,' suggesting these early psychological stakes will escalate into far more dangerous territory.
