Upon entering a grand hall, they are caught in a surge of magical energy, a pink symbol blooming beneath their feet. This strange transformation highlights the surreal nature of their journey into a world redefined by illusion.

Within the opulent hall, Gabu Eurius, regal and imposing with golden horns, awaits them on a throne. He acknowledges their arrival with a calm, ominous tone. Aki, despite the grandeur, faces him with determined eyes and a clenched fist, ready for the inevitable clash. The air crackles with tension as the two prepare to engage, their destinies intertwined in this grand, illusory setting.

Gabu Eurius begins to unravel the mystery, explaining the 'Illusion Beast Battle' as a ritual to eradicate the 'Illusion Beasts.' He reveals that 'Illusion Cards' now control everything, aiming to reshape the world into an ideal utopia. Aki listens, shocked and angered by the revelation. He defiantly declares his intention to stop Gabu Eurius and reclaim the 'Illusion Cards,' refusing to accept this fabricated reality.

With their intentions clear, the cardfight is formally initiated, depicted by a dramatic screen displaying the match-up. Gabu Eurius challenges Aki, whose eyes burn with resolute fire. Both raise their hands, glowing cards appearing, and a voice announces the start of the battle: 'Divine!' as yellow and red orbs merge and split, focusing on their determined eyes. He explains that under the red moon's influence, he transformed into 'something else,' a figure similar yet distinct from the Gabu Eurius Aki knew. He then poses a philosophical question to Aki: 'Why do you fight?'

Gabu Eurius notes that Aki still keeps critical triggers in his deck despite the 'Phantom Skill,' showing his strategic awareness.

Aki confirms he considered removing critical triggers but chose not to, reflecting on a flashback with Kana. Kana advised him to know himself before his opponent, prompting Aki to reaffirm his belief in his own strength. He fiercely declares he will not compromise the power of 'Rezael,' his Vanguard. Gabu Eurius challenges Aki's belief in miracles, to which Aki defiantly responds, 'That's my Vanguard!'

They refuse to let the future be erased, pledging to reclaim a world filled with unique and irreplaceable lives, with Aki promising to keep reaching out until Gabu Eurius smiles.
