This series is starting to get a little boring for me. It's like the unqiue concept is being wasted away! I was initially attracted to this series because of the MC having an unimportant role and the story being very low stakes, but the stakes are way too low lol.

OK episode, the jokes didn't land that well for me and it felt a little off-putting. There were barely any new developments as well. I miss the first few episodes where there were people/party member characters to appreciate Mukoda's cooking too :((

Another wholesome episode, there's real developments with the MC in his skillset and primarily defensive combat abilities. HIs interactions stay lighthearted and fun to watch, with many of the important scenes being dialogue expositions. A great dinner show!!

Not the most action-packed episode, but I loved the MC’s growth here. He finally realizes he must defend himself and level up instead of relying only on others. Plus, the food scenes looked so delicious they honestly made my mouth water! 🍜🔥

Finally we got a huge character development where the main character try to cast a spell and the author sacrifice the storyline. that's why the storyline in this episode is kinda meh because it's just a bridge to big adventure ahead

Unlike the past 3 episodes, this one is pretty straightforward. We get to see the routine cycling in this episode, yet, the episode feels welcoming. Just be careful, you might get hungry while watching this episode! I definitely enjoyed searching these recipes up for good food.

Of course this is isekai, mc is finally learning new skills. Even with a typical isekai plot and no cooking scenes, this episode still proves the show is all about food. Fel is such a funny food critic, and the animation for the ordered food is still so consistent, I'm drooling.

apart from learning basic magic, practically nothing new this episode

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting one-third into the season, Episode 4 pivots from the early establishment of Mukoda's cooking abilities and his partnership with Fel toward developing his combat readiness — a necessary evolution if the show plans to raise stakes in its back half. The first three episodes locked in the premise and comedic tone; this one invests in Mukoda's self-sufficiency, laying groundwork for more complex encounters ahead. It's a classic early-season skill-up episode that signals the adventure side of this isekai is about to demand more from its protagonist.
