jeetsyramae★★★★☆EP 8The narrative thrust of this episode revolves around a local dungeon. Usually, a dungeon dive in anime means dark corridors, life-or-death stakes, and gritty combat. Here? It's basically a high-end gourmet shopping spree. Fel, the legendary Fenrir, pushes a deeply reluctant Mukouda into the cave solely because he heard the boss monsters inside taste incredible. The contrast between Mukouda's sheer, shaking panic and Fel’s casual attitude creates incredible comedic timing. Watching Fel effortlessly obliterate high-ranking monsters just to bring back pristine cuts of "Rock Bird" meat is a running gag that never gets old. While Fel provides the muscle, the absolute MVP of the episode is the adorable baby slime, Sui. This episode heavily showcases Sui's evolution from a helpless little blob into a surprisingly terrifying tactical asset. The second half of the episode shifts back to the show’s true heart: the cooking. Mukouda uses his "Online Supermarket" skill to get premium Japanese ingredients—specifically cornstarch, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic—to transform the freshly hunted Rock Bird into dynamic variations of Karaage (Japanese deep-fried chicken).
