I love action sequences but the way Kotono 'won' that battle doesn't feel quite right to me. However, this episode also showcases how Kotono feels pressured to the hate online and her fear of not being loved which is handled quite well ngl. Not the best episode but I'm still intrigued to find out more! ;)

This episode leaves me with mixed feelings. It raises the expectation that, with the characters separating, each will have their own goal to achieve, and although the episode focuses more on Ritsu and his attempts to awaken Kotono, it does offer glimpses into what's happening with the other characters through small vignettes. The confrontation between Kotono and Mirei bothers me; I understand it's meant to reflect Kotono's feelings about men, but I found the "battle" and the way Kotono "won" quite crude. Perhaps that reference to Freud and the fascination with "mothers" was intentional, but it's still in poor taste. I'm more interested in what's happening with Shogo.

For me, this episode looks at the real pressure experienced by social media influencers and the profound effects of online hatred, exemplified by Kotono, who wrestles with her digital identity and the fear of being unloved, which is addressed with unexpected maturity
