Caligula Episode 1: When You Lose Your Composure, You Cannot Reach the Truth or Reality.

Apparently, this anime is based on a game. I had absolutely no idea about that before picking to watch this, but I'm amazed about it. I don't really understand the story yet because it jumps here and there quite fast, but I have hope that they'll explain it as more episodes go on. This episode itself is great with its music choices and visuals tho. ;)

This anime is an adaptation of a video game I haven't finished yet, so it was easier for me to understand the beginning, but I imagine that someone watching the anime for the first time will need to wait for the explanations later on. Please be patient; it will be worth it. I really like the melancholic and suspenseful tone of this adaptation. The game is more direct and focuses a bit more on action. The animation is excellent, although in some frames the faces are slightly distorted. I also really like the art style; it truly captured the video game's art style well and elevated it even further. In the game, the music is also a key element, as it reflects the psyches of certain characters. It seems they put a lot of care into the music in this anime as well. I have high expectations for the upcoming episodes!
