The mysterious masterminds fit Kanji's worldview but skipping the other families in the epilogue was a letdown. We needed to see how all those parents were coping after losing their kids even if it was heartbreaking.

Yep, Jun is the real MVP for the last remained episodes we've watched. We all have something to fight for in life, in this world, it's survive or get killed! I enjoyed this run, I just hope there is another season since the real problem lies beyond the cosmos!

Episode Context

Coming directly after 'Snowscape,' which confronted the group with some of the series' harshest realities, 'Tale' narrows the lens to Ushiro alone as Bokurano approaches its end. As episode 24 of 24, this is the final breath before the conclusion, a deliberate emotional clearing that foregrounds Ushiro's inner world and his relationships, positioning everything for the series finale to land with full weight.
