Best episode so far for me. Consistent artstyle and animation, voice acting is super good as usual. Suguro looked his best so far in the season, I wish the slap would have been bigger though.
A strong setup episode for the rescue mission. The trip to Shimane adds atmosphere, while the slow uncovering of Izumo’s past gives emotional context to the conflict and makes the coming confrontation feel deeply personal.
