It’s hard to distinguish the present from the past because of Saya’s condition. Every scene feels connected to who she once was. The plot twists are very well written, and the visuals add even more emotion to the story.

I have a feeling that Saya's words on how to differentiate the twins were an effective foreshadowing. Though I feel like there's such a glaring plot hole, like why aren't people reacting more poorly to the monsters around them and their casualties? I hope this will be tackled in the next episodes.

We finally get some more info on the monsters in this ep. It looks like the second half of the show is going to be quite a bit darker than the first, both in tone and art style.Everything is starting to take a toll on Saya, mentally and physically.
