I hate seeing Rukia being used as a puppet like that and her face when she was begging Orihime to just kill her actually broke my heart

Episode Context

Episode 85 sits firmly within a filler stretch that follows the conclusion of the Soul Society arc, one of Bleach's most celebrated runs. The previous episode raised questions about Rukia's allegiance, and this installment escalates that thread by forcing a direct confrontation between her and Orihime. The next episode pivots away from this pairing to spotlight other team members facing their own filler-arc challenges.
