I actually liked the part where Nozomi used her kido to give Ichigo his energy back, because it felt like a real turning point after seeing him struggle so much. The whole invading army arc has some hits and misses but Yushima is a terrifying antagonist and seeing the friends unite on Sokyoku Hill was a highlight for me.

Episode Context

This episode continues the anime-original Reigai arc, picking up after Episode 338's completion of the Nozomi-Inaba fusion and escalating the conflict between the original Soul Reapers and their impostor counterparts. Positioned deep into this filler stretch at episode 339 of 366, it serves as a bridge toward the arc's climactic battles while giving the supporting cast extended action sequences. The canon Thousand-Year Blood War setup still lies ahead once this filler arc concludes.
