Don Kanonji is a straight up madlad for trying to take on Aizen like that and it was actually kind of inspiring to see him protect Tatsuki when nobody else could
Aizen's face when Ichigo just *stood* there, totally unbothered by his attacks, really cemented for me just how far Ichigo had come. I felt such a surge of satisfaction seeing Aizen's supreme arrogance finally crack, thinking he was dishing out damage only for Ichigo to remain untouched.
