I was genuinely stunned when Ikkaku's zanpakuto transformed; the three-section staff is unlike anything I've seen a Soul Reaper wield, making me wonder just how much training it takes to master such an unconventional weapon. His movements with it were absolutely seamless, almost like an extension of his own body.
