Episode Context

Sitting deep in Bleach's extended filler stretch, Episode 246 picks up directly from the prior episode's revelation of Yamamoto's whereabouts and throws the cast into an original rescue mission. It bridges into the next episode, which continues escalating the conflict and the challenges facing the Soul Reapers. Viewers following the canon story can skip this without losing any continuity, but those invested in the filler arc will find it advancing the central conflict at a solid clip.
