EPISODE REVIEWS

Why is Ichigo just drifting around, seriously? I feel like I'm stuck in a time loop with him; all these flashbacks to stuff we just saw yesterday are driving me crazy, just get to the good parts already!

Episode Context

Episode 175 falls within Bleach's extended filler stretch, continuing the anime-original storyline centered on the protection of Princess Rurichiyo. The previous episode established Hanza Nukui's failed first strike, and this installment escalates the threat by forcing Ichigo's group into a defensive posture against a regrouped enemy. It serves as a bridge episode, raising the stakes before the arc's next major confrontation.
