my nerves are shot watching shinji worry about how slow ichigo is moving with his hollow control while the arrancars are literally on their doorstep

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 138 of 366, this falls deep into the Arrancar saga as the conflict between Soul Society and Aizen's forces intensifies beyond isolated encounters. The previous episode spotlighted internal power dynamics within Hueco Mundo, and this one pivots to the direct consequences, the Arrancar launching a renewed assault that forces the Gotei 13 into reactive combat. It sets the stage for the escalating battles that follow immediately after, as the Soul Reapers find themselves increasingly tested by the scale of the invasion.
