The animation feels a bit shaky this week but watching Sui-Feng stand her ground while poisoned was actually pretty impressive for a filler episode

Mabashi is such a creep for mind controlling the low level soul reapers and making Ichigo fight his own friends is a total mess

When that vial hit, I was honestly stunned Sui-Feng could even stand, but her sheer willpower to keep swinging despite the brutal poison just deepened my respect for her incredible resolve as a captain. It made me wonder if she's always been this unyielding, or if this fight just brought it out of her.
