Vanessa's new power is so needlessly overpowered. The power scaling in this world feels pretty off now, not only because of how vague her new ability is, but also how little sense it makes tbh. Wdym control fate lol???

Vanessa's flashbacks and expositions of her past were so emotional. She has easily one of my favorite backstories in terms of its emotional weight and plot importance. She literally drove the story forward, and resolved her past disputes with the queen towards the end; saying what she couldn't all those years ago !!

The whole vibe from the sacrificial ring created by the Queen of Witches felt so peak, the vibe was really there. It was different from the usual, colorful aesthetic that this series usually features for its lighthearted segments.

My jaw dropped seeing how the Witch Queen basically imprisoned a young Vanessa; it’s wild to think she grew up like that! No wonder she's so fiercely attached to the Black Bulls—I'd run to the first group that showed me genuine family too after being treated so poorly.

Just how unbelievably quick is that red cat?! I was rooting so hard for Asta to connect, but it just effortlessly dodged every single one of his swings, even with those anti-magic blades – I kept thinking, "What a troll!" It was frustrating, but also impressive watching it make a fool out of everyone.

Yami crashing through that wall and telling Vanessa to ignore fate made me laugh, he totally saved her without even trying

I still can't believe Noelle almost got her head chopped off by Asta and then that tiny red cat just fixed everything by touching him

Rouge is way too cute for how broken its powers are and seeing the Witch Queen get so frustrated because her fate magic kept failing was the best part

Vanessa standing up to her mother after all that trauma while the red cat protects Asta is just pure satisfaction

EPISODE CONTEXT

Arriving deep within the Witches' Forest Arc, episode 64 follows the high-stakes physical confrontations of previous episodes and pivots toward personal revelation, specifically Vanessa's complicated ties to the Witch Queen. This internal reckoning serves as a critical turning point in the arc, shifting the conflict from external battles to deeply personal stakes that will shape the trajectory of the arc's resolution and the Black Bulls' dynamics going forward.
