I usually skip recaps but Gordon keeping a diary of Asta's accomplishments was so weirdly funny that I actually stayed tuned in for once. It is a bit annoying that they are stalling when the manga is so far ahead, but at least we got some new dialogue and that brief look at the Magic Emperor fighting again.
