This episode was honestly good for those who needed a quick refresher, I realized just how much happened across the span of the past 28 episodes. We actually got tons of cute easter eggs too, like Gordon's funky diary?? The extras were entertaining

It is basically just a filler episode, but Gordon talking about his best friend Asta in that diary was actually pretty funny and I normally hate when shows do this right before a major plot point starts, because it ruins the momentum, but at least the writers tried to give us some small bits of new character stuff with Gordon being weird

It is a bit annoying that they are stalling when the manga is so far ahead, but at least we got some new dialogue and that brief look at the Magic Emperor fighting again.
