My issues with these training episodes (with this one being Vanessa centric) is that it doesn't feel like the characters are improving their abilities in any substantial ways. It's as if they start and end at the same exact place, with one moral lesson in there somewhere. The episodes are still nice to watch, don't get me wrong, and they serve as good, one-off things - it's just unfortunate that they all happen one after another because it makes the lack of plot progression very obvious. But, like I said, still a decent enough watch, but one of the weaker episodes.
