EPISODE REVIEWS
The animation shines during the orbital conflict, and the narrative smoothly transitions us back toward Earth with brand new mysteries surrounding the Ryunka looming overhead.
Following the events of the previous episode, Birdy takes on a side mission with a rather intriguing temporary partner. However, the episode feels as though several scenes were skipped, making parts of the story seem disjointed. The action sequences are also noticeably less exciting compared to previous episodes. That said, this mission clearly demonstrates that Birdy isn't exactly cut out for undercover work.
The atmosphere is growing darker. Episode 5 has good pacing and a strategic narrative that is executed well. The conflicts between the characters really bring the storyline to life. It's a little confusing at first, but you gradually get the hang of it. The plot is quite good.
