This off-world journey serves as a fantastic piece of world-building for the series, introducing a vibrant and colorful array of alien life, from Birdy's giant insect commander to her canine-like friend.

This episode does a great job of expanding both the world and the lore. Birdy's home planet is showcased in this episode as well as the headquarters of the Space Federation Police while the mystery surrounding the Ryunka is further explored by the impact it presents. The episode also includes a brief flashback to Birdy's past, shedding light on how she acquired her other name. P.S. The final scene and the ending theme have completely different moods, making the transition feel surprisingly abrupt 😳

I was quite taken aback by the sudden change. Just imagining what happened to Senkawa is so complicated! The pacing is tight and really makes an impact. The scenery at Birdy’s house is absolutely brilliant and mesmerising. This episode is full of interesting things.
