The animation during these destructive set-pieces is breathtaking, utilizing dynamic, fluid movement to communicate the terrifying raw energy tearing through the landscape.

As the saying goes, "The shit has hit the fan" and that's exactly what happened in this episode. By this point, it's already clear what Shyamalan's goals are while throughout most of the episode, Tsutomu acts like a defeated puppy until the situation spirals far beyond what could be called disastrous. The soundtrack plays a major role in elevating the episode, effectively amplifying the tension and emotions. However, I can't say the same about the animation, as some scenes looked unpolished, almost as if they were taken straight from a rough draft then the studio just put some coloring into it.

Senkawa’s worries and anxieties are conveyed perfectly here. The antagonist is portrayed perfectly, evoking strong emotions from the audience. The pacing is good, too. The story grows in depth, giving us plenty to think about. The flashbacks moved me deeply. This is the perfect build up to the conclusion in the final episode.
