To say they're rushing the plot is an understatement. Plenty of chances to give more exposure to the audience, but they didn't. I don't like this kind of pacing, but at least the main plot stays clear so I won't dock too much point from that. Eiji and Kurenai chemistry are tense, but still somehow comedic would be the winning point from me.
This episode shifts from the chaos of Episode 1 into explaining the world of Orders and the people hunting Eiji. While the action is still over-the-top, the main focus is Eiji trying to understand the consequences of his power while dealing with Kurenai and the growing threat around him. The episode spends time introducing more of the political side of the story, showing that Eiji’s wish from ten years ago affected far more people than he realized. The pacing is a little uneven because of the heavy exposition, but it does a decent job expanding the mystery surrounding Daisy and the Order users. The strongest part of the episode is seeing Eiji slowly realize that his power is not simply a weapon—it is something that can reshape reality itself. While some character motivations still feel rushed, the episode succeeds at building anticipation for the larger conflict ahead.
