Episode Context

Following 'Black Brand,' which established the formation of the witchcraft club and Hiroko Takashiro's earliest steps into dark magic, 'Black Altar' escalates the stakes by pushing those rituals to their most extreme and consequential point. As the second and final episode of this two-part prequel series, it functions as both a climax and a bridge, completing the origin story that directly feeds into the events of the main Bible Black series.
