The first half of this episode is full with adorable and wholesome moments between Marie and Kyuros. Their interaction also so cute. And then Mio's antics in this episode is quite interesting to watch. The cliffhanger at the end of this episode makes the next one even more compelling to watch.
I think the serious investigation pairs well with the lighthearted date, writing-wise they don't seem to compete for attention. The Shaderan family is being very suspicious so that's a fun thread to follow.
The episode was enjoyable, along with the two intercepting plots. One has a pleasant and romantic date with a light-hearted tone, until that intense ending scene. The other side plot was mysterious, thrilling, and somber as they walked past Marie's past upbringing. Mio never ceases to amazed me! I like her ninja moves right there and her funny chemistry with Thomas. Kyros visuals in this ep were more masculine with that hair.
