I personally really like what the central theme is shaping up to be. In my own interpretation, the story so far shows several perspectives and ideas from people of different backgrounds brought together and fighting despite differing status.

Intense sequences with both reflection and character growth. The strong characterization of both Guts and Griffith can be felt through the screen; each with their own complexities that allow them to understand one another.
